CampusMart is a marketplace app for Canadian university students, where verified students at the same school buy and sell items, rent gear by the term, list sublets, and pass on event tickets. It opens first at Western University in London, Ontario in fall 2026.

CampusMart is for students at Canadian universities. Anyone can sign up and look around the launch campus, but posting, messaging, and reviews stay locked until you verify a university email address.

You confirm a university email address, either with a six digit code sent to it or, at Western, by signing in with your university account through Microsoft. Your university password is never sent to CampusMart. One university address can be attached to only one account.

No. One student gets one account. A university address is recorded once it is used, so somebody who is suspended cannot come back under a new name.

No. You can browse the launch campus before you verify. Posting a listing, messaging another student, and leaving a review stay locked until your university address checks out.

CampusMart is free for students to join and to list on. CampusMart never handles the money, so there is no commission on a sale: you pay the other student directly.

CampusMart never handles money and asks for no payment details. You settle with the other student directly, usually in cash or by e-transfer, and you agree on the method in chat before you meet.

Anything a student needs to move on: textbooks, tech, furniture, clothing, bikes, and sports gear. Rentals, sublets, and event tickets are their own listing types alongside ordinary items.

You pick a meeting spot from a list of campus locations. If you are meeting off campus you choose a distance instead, such as within 3 km of your school, because there is nowhere in CampusMart to type an address.

You can review, report, and block, and all three attach to a verified student at your school rather than to a throwaway profile. A suspension blocks that university address from signing up again.

No. The app never asks your device for its location, and it carries no analytics, advertising, or tracking code. A distance from campus is a radius you pick yourself, not a position. The privacy policy has the detail.

Yes. Sublets are their own listing type, so you can list your room or your whole place for the months you are away. Each sublet shows the rent, the neighbourhood, and how far it is from campus.

Rentals cover the things you only need for a term, like cameras, monitors, mini fridges, and calculators. The student renting the item out sets the rate and any deposit, and the two of you arrange both directly.

Rentals are items you borrow for a set period and give back. Sublets are housing, for the months you are away from the place you already rent.

Yes. Tickets are their own listing type, for campus events like homecoming, football games, formals, and ski trips. A ticket listing carries the event, the date, the venue, and the quantity.

Every seller is one verified student at your school. Somebody who sells a fake ticket loses the only account they can have, and the university address behind it cannot be used to sign up again.

Facebook Marketplace is open to anyone with a Facebook account anywhere in your city. CampusMart is limited to verified students at your own university, so the person you meet is a classmate and the handover happens on campus.

Kijiji lists to a whole city or region and checks nothing about you beyond an account. CampusMart requires a university email, shows you only your own school's listings, and ties every report to a verified student.
