The student-only marketplace.
Buy, sell, rent, sublet, and get tickets from verified students at your school. Launching at Canadian universities fall 2026.
How CampusMart works.
CampusMart is a marketplace app for Canadian university students, where verified students at the same school buy and sell items, rent gear by the term, list sublets, and pass on event tickets. It opens first at Western University in London, Ontario in fall 2026.
-
Verify with your university email
Sign up and confirm a university address, either with a six digit code or, at Western, your university sign in. Posting, messaging, and reviews unlock once it checks out.
-
Browse your own campus
Listings, rentals, sublets, and tickets are filtered to your school, so the person on the other end is a short walk away and not a stranger across the city.
-
Message, meet, and settle up
Chat stays in the app. You pick a campus meeting spot, pay each other in cash or by e-transfer, and leave a review afterwards.
Buy from students at your school.
Sick of sketchy marketplace meetups? Every seller here is a verified student at your school. Meet on campus and pay how you like.
Selling takes a minute.
Snap a photo, set a price, post. Your whole campus sees it, and chat stays in the app.
Rent it for a term, not forever.
Cameras, monitors, mini fridges, calculators. Rent from students nearby, with the rate and any deposit agreed up front.
Going home for the summer? Sublet it.
List your room or your whole place for the months you are away. Every sublet shows the rent, how far it is from campus, and the neighbourhood, so nobody has to guess where they would be living.
Tickets from classmates. No scalpers.
Student tickets at student prices. HOCO, football, formals, ski trips. One account per student, so fakes get banned for good.
Built on trust.

Listings, chats, and meetups stay at your school.Reports that stick
Every report attaches to a real verified account.CampusMart compared to Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji.
The difference is who is on the other side of the trade. CampusMart is limited to verified students at one university, so listings, meetups, and reports all stay inside your school.
| Feature | CampusMart | Facebook Marketplace | Kijiji |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who can post | Verified students at your university | Anyone with a Facebook account | Anyone with a Kijiji account |
| Identity check | A university email address, one account per student | A Facebook profile | An email address |
| Who sees your listing | Students browsing your school | Anyone browsing your city | Anyone browsing your region |
| Where you meet | A campus spot picked from a list, or a distance band from campus | Anywhere the two of you agree | Anywhere the two of you agree |
| If a trade goes wrong | A report attaches to a verified student, and a suspension blocks that university address from signing up again | Report the account | Report the ad |
| Sublets | A listing type, showing rent, neighbourhood, and distance from campus | General rental listings | A general real estate section |
| Event tickets | A listing type for campus events | Not a student ticket market | Not a student ticket market |
This compares who can use each service and how listings are scoped. Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji are trademarks of their respective owners. More answers are on the FAQ page.
